as of now. only factory unlocked 3.1.3 have tethering, there is no ipcc uploads for 3.1.3 yet. when there is, the download section will be updated. However some of the carriers have it enabled automatically as soon as you put in your sim card. I know for sure T-Mobile doesnt have that because I'm with t-mobile.

there isn't a way if you used the regular way to upgrade (iTunes update straight from apple) because that changed your baseband. But there is a way to get your tethering back, some have had success by following the tutorial posted by using the ipcc files offered, but I can;t guarantee you it will work.

if You're on AT&T, for 3d try the different carrier than what you're 3gs is on.. if you're on 5.1 carrier, try the 5.0 carrier. and make sure you get the right servers in your MMS, if you can;t find them let me know I'll look them up for you.

Having an issue. Wife and I have 3GS and MMS works fine using the above file and walkthrough. Daughter has 3G but cannot send or receive using exact same settings as wife and I. Have tried both WiFi and 3G. Very strange....any ideas??

I did everything correctly and I have the MMS option, but when I tried to send a MMS message I get an error with the choice to re-try or cancel.
