@zelehun
Hm. Ignore the 533 mhz part. Somehow under windows it shows incorrect number, under os x you can see its 1066. Still, 4 gb helps a lot

I can’t say enough times that if you own a “classic” aluminium macbook unibody (you know, before the rename) upgrading your RAM is the best thing you can do to your performance.You know, they are supplied with 2x1GB DDR3 memories, so if you want 4 Gb, they must go. But, on top of that, those are only rated 533 Mhz… and the FSB on the macbook is 1066 mhz. So in short, the ram is slow.With the 2x2Gb ddr3-1066 setup tho, you get the 1:1 FSB:RAM ratio, which is the best possible as far as I know.

nice work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kind of…
but if you decide to upgrade your ram yourself, keep the standard ram. If you have to get it serviced, put in the standard ram for when you get it serviced, and they’ll never know as long as you don’t break anything in the process.

@ricosun: yes, it can do.
