The flattening worked but the history brush then becomes useless:) I´m obviously going to have to re think the technique its totally different than Corel Photopaint or Photo- Brush which I usually use. Basically there´s a picture of me standing by some monument, (an on arch on steps in Italy) and I want to put a difrerent scene in the arch giving the effect that I´m about to enter some portal to another world, I usually do this by pasting over the image and using the history brush to fill in.

good luck… but if u failed, try to tell us exactly what were u doing so we can know what is going wrong…

  • bicnarok

@haa82 Ive been using your first solution, but surely such an advanced app like this must have an easier option than saving to Jpeg and re-opening the file. Ill try your second solution, thanks for the info.

Let’s say you have ur pix and u want to paste ur child pix over it. when u paste it u will get a second layer. now go to file>save as> select jpeg format and u will have ur pix and ur child pix in one pix!!
here is another trick, after u paste ur child pix, go to the original layer [background], right click and choose flatten image. this will merge everything into one piece…
    cheers

yeah ….i like the way he says “heya” (here)

    very explanatory video.

  • bicnarok

@haa82 tried all that, can´t paint on the picture as a whole

  • haa82

a new layer means a new layer!!! so when u want to write something on the original pic, make sure u clicked first on the original picture and not the new layer

  • haa82

    Watch the video again!!

Layers are pissing me off at the moment because they appear on their own whenever I paste another picture on top, and then when i try to draw on the whole image it only draws on one layer. How do you fix a layer so its part of the whole picture?

  • AkaTTTTay

i like tha way you talk
