Wait! Macbook was updated in October! 

That macbook is crap. My friend has one and it is soooo slow! I’m so glad they updated it in like January or whatever! 

Ive seen various videos on refurbished MacBook Pros, and they say, there’s no problem at all with it, (no scratching, performs great, etc) and it’s basically the same thing as a first hand MBP but $200 cheaper.And here’s my question: Would you consider buying a refurbished MBP?

since they updated the macbook this last winter with the whole unibody construction and everything wouldn’t the threat of it cracking go away?

Isn’t this the old macbook model? I believe Apple launced the new model back in November 09, unibodied = no screws (like mbp) with the same specification (exept 250GB HDD, MBP just has 160GB). So what about making a new additional video when the new MBP comes out? -Hopefully pretty soon, fingers crossed!!…!!!

Thanks for posting!! Very helpful. I like the look of the white, I hope they incorporate it into a stronger bodied notebook in the future. For now I’m thinking the pro.

I have the white one and its great, but i am slightly worried about the cracking. But i have a 12 month warranty from the store so if i see any signs of cracking i will take it back and put the rest of the cash towards getting the pro Plus i only paid £700 for this and the pro was £1100, thats a massive difference considering they are basically the same. Lets hope i don’t see any cracks :-s lol …. thanks for the video it help a lot.. p.s i do miss the extra gestures you get with the pro

i have the 13” white macbook 2ghz and i was thinking about selling it to buy the macbook pro but i’d have to add $500 more. is it worth it? is there a big difference between the two or not so much?

aluminum and white have same LED screen.

my white one just broke today, the screen cracked so I’mma get the aluminum one tomorrow, hopefully its more durable cus plastic sucks dick

i traded my macpro 13” for the new white one so icould get 200 dollars back, and i love it. It actually doesn’t get hot like my alluminum did quickly. I’ve had my new white macbook for 2 months and very satisfied. I’m using it to type this right now. FYI i noticed u were using old pictures of the white macbook. The white macbook is the same stucture and design as the alluminum is. The only difference is that it’s white and plastic.

@nasshit – well the pro is obviously better, but it’s much lower in HDD…. but if your not a crazy person with space then definitely get the pro
