Just replaced the harddrive in my Macbook Pro 17″ with a 500G 7200 rpmSeagate.

I avoided disconnecting the keyboard by using the screen as a rest for it. Just stand the screen up enough for the keyboard to lay against it.

its a 320gb smart guy… however i have since gone to a 200gb 7400 rpm which is 10x better
