Can I have two VOIP telephone services on one broadband network/line?

My parents live with me and my family, and they have trouble understanding English when it comes to answering the phone. I suggested to them not to answer the phone, but they didn’t like that idea. I talked to my husband about this. He didn’t know the answer to this either. Our current telephone subscription is VOIP, and I want a second VOIP telephone line. Is this possible?

    The answer is of course it is possible. You would have to make sure that your router has enough ethernet plugs so that you can connected your VOIP devices to your router and your cordless phones to your VOIP devices. You can also connect with 2 different VOIP services if you like.

    Yes it is possible. As long as you have a spare socket in your router to plug the VOIP box into, you can have as many as you like. My business has three of them.

    sure… but it depends on how much bandwidth you have… you need about 90kbps per VoIP line for decent quality..
