iMac G3 Upgrade: Part One
What happens when you try to upgrade an old piece of Apple hardware? Okay, so it’s not THAT old… but still, this whole process definitely took much longer than I had originally expected. “Part One” introduces you to my iMac and what I plan to do with it, as well as opening the case and installing the new hard drive. Continue onto “Part Two” and that’s where the real fun begins. Both these videos are filled with lots of fun geek stuff, so you have been warned!

@Pizzscn this is the first computer I ever used. I actually have the model before that one! And the corresponding iBook clamshell. I tore out it’s insides, and put in MacBook hardware. Now the thing’s running OSX 10.6.2

you do know that if a 250 is cheaper or something, itll just truncate it. also, there are drivers that will make it work just fine, look at intech’s ata 6 driver
