@ImAFake001 no the movie is about the 23 day period in which l lives out his last days before he dies. he stops a bio logical terrorist and stuff. I saw the movie to me it was boring and just not a good story.

@thefatman69dude I have yet to watch the trailer but from what I understand this is a book based on L’s POV and it’s him having a chance to stop Kira from killing all those innocent people.

I could help you.^^There are rules in the Death Note.If you write your own name there, then you surely have 23 days of life what’s maximum, so L wrote it because at the time he didn’t know who Kira was, he needed time to prove that it is Light and in meantime, before he proves it, Light could write his name and kill him, but as he wrote his own name before Light, there was no way that Light could kill him.Like Misa couldn’t. She has seen his name and guessed it but couldn’t kill him

I dont understand why this film was made has nothing to do with deathnote, lol the film was ok.

@naruto9843 oh, at the time he didnt know hwo kira was. i dont remember what he wrote excactly, but he writes his name in it, and that the cause of death will ocure 23 days i believe it was, after he defeats kira. this put into motion the FACT that he would kill kira, who was actually Light. it is sorta tricky, youll have to read it a few times to get this.

i find the whole thing about the novel Change The World quite sad. he has to write his name in the death note to defeat kira, and then ends up having to save the whole damn planet in 23 days, and cannot write his name down again because it wouldnt work. he sorta doesnt even win in the end when ya think about it.
