If you are incredibly wealthy, you have unlimited funds, and money is no problem for you then of course sending money to Haiti makes sense.
But if your like 99.99% of the population and you do have spending limits, Why in the fuck would you give money to Haiti over people in your own country who need it just as much. Why not help War Veterans, abused children, or families loosing jobs and homes.

The US has been giving money to Haiti for years and it hasnt improved their quality of life even slightly and Haitians arent even the slightest bit appreciative. Now we are wasting more money on them just so a hurricane can blow through and fuck it up even more.
Haiti is 100% self sustainable they have all the resources they need to become a civilized thriving country but they never will because they are to accustom to getting handouts. What is sad is that we keep enabling them.
