What firewall policies will you add to VoIP networks in addition to the data network firewall policies?

This is a very general question. Looking for firewall policies to put in place for a corporate network outside of the normal data network firewall policies.

This depends on a bunch of things.

Can you describe your needs further? Are you running a client (like Skype or SIP phone) or are you running a VOIP Server? Are you referring to a firewall that is running on your machine, or a dedicated box? Are you behind a NAT router?

If you want to send me a message directly, I can help you sort this out. I’m sure that I will forget to come back here and see if you answered my questions above as I am running out for the day now.

Have a look @ ‘Snapfiles’; Networking utilities for a couple of acres of freeware stuff. Bound to be some analytical & tweak items you want to get.
