First earthquake I ever went thru, was down in Yuma visiting family stationed down there. Seriously never again. 7.2 isnt really alot but it scared the hell out of me.

@navykev: diggin the name, ill be in the Navy in the fall. However what you lack about that statement is all those quakes are less than 4.5 mag. Weve had a large number of big quakes.

The thing that makes me wonder the most is, and I just watched it today, the movie 2012 starts off with quakes in 2011, which is a close proximity to now. Just makes me go ‘hmm’

There are over 10,000 earthquakes in the northern hemisphere a year bro….not hard to get that one right.
