NOAA Weather Satellite imagery showing the earthquake via a tremendous dust cloud raised up from all the rock slides in the very steep desert mountain range near the epicenter.
interesting, mount seeley (el centinela) crack in two, you can see the crack from side to side sometimes its a couple of inches wide and sometimes instead of inches they are a couple of feet wide.

@ms4jah Hermosillo, Sonora is 700Km SW from Mexicali. I was in Mexicali and I saw that dust right after the quake and then the strong wind like about an hour afterwards.

Here in Denver on the following tuesday we awoke to clumps of dirt on our cars. It was dirt from the earthquake and brought down w/ the rain

Okay now I’m seeing the dust cloud! Right! It’s clearly visible!
Thanks for pointing it out because at first I was actually only noticing the clouds and that had me a bit puzzled.
Really cool satelite photography also showed the earthquake dust storm. Thank you for sharing. It’s very interesting.

Actually where the dust rise, was the Sierra el Mayor mountain range, between Mexicali, his Valley of Mexicali and La Laguna Salada Area, to the west of Mexicali area, and was between the range of 8.5 to 9, the mountain range absorbed 50% of the shock
beatryxa
if not was for that mountain range a terrible destruction would have hit the entire Mexicali Valley as well Imperial Valley USA and Colorado River, that means, that South Cali would had loosed his water supply as well as other things. Thanks dear God for your mercy on us
