I’m sure that the producers of Tekken 2010 are delighted to hear your worries.

Firstly, you’re providing them with a bit of free publicity (assuming that you’re not already in their paid employ – you’re not are you?)

Secondly, there’d be little point in them producing a movie that the principal market (the games and anime movie fan base) felt that they had already seen. Better to produce something that fans felt they needed to see in order to get the whole story.

It’s simple marketing, really.
