    This happened when George W. Bush’s dad George H.W. Bush was president and First Lady Barbara Bush.

    u askin how big?

    there was this street in a line before the earthquake like this ————————————–

    but after the earthquake, the other side of the street moved up and the other side moved down.. … . about 8 metres apart.. .. . . that should give you an idea of how big it is =)

    @ILoveFriGhtFeSt

    For years the 1989 quake was said to have been a 7.1, but I have heard the figure 6.9 thrown around in most recent years.

    could anyone tell me How big was it?
    I was in Mexicali Baja California a couple weeks ago, and there was a pretty big earthquake I was awaken from, they say it was a 5.9 but I think it was like a 6.3, it was pretty big.

    It’s a miracle that the death toll wasn’t in the thousands, even tens of thousands, because of people commuting to the game/commuting to parties for the game/rush hour

  • socialistcontainment

    I think there is a huge difference between 1989 California and a bunch of welfare enabled deadbeats that want the government to wipe their ass.

  • RYNORICHIE1

    did you hear bush ….”are you getting alot of request for emergency medical service”
    wtf???/ thx for the help….

  • hedablinka

    Note the small death toll. Sixty total or so, both in SF, and in LA in 94–and in two structures, a freeway in SF (okay, Oakland) and one apartment building in Northridge. People get hysterical but we’ve learned how to build. And don’t get under that desk or table unless you want to get crushed: Get in the “shadow” of a large object (a couch) where the ceiling will come down and break over the object, creating a safe space for you, in the “shadow”.

    If I would have viewed this video before I went to San Francisco 2 weeks ago, I may have cancelled my trip. Great video of a bad situation. (And I’m actually considering moving there)? Let me get on the phone now and find a good shrink.
