If you have head, not cabbage, you will use some sort antivirus / or just don’t surf in some bad sites. Even more, some don’t want to use Windows! a mac looks better than a PC. it is faster than a PC. i’s got more recognition as a high-end computer than say a lenovo. even cnet says the macbook is the best you can get for its category.
and you know what? my mac hasn’t crashed/frozen/hanged/”virus-ed” since i bought my mac 4 months ago. Beat that, PC users! I know you can’t stand pressing the ctrl alt dlt buttons every 3 hours. admit that.

lol, as a PC fanboi I will tell you this: Vista really sucks.
Windows 7 is a true step up, I can’t argue it is based on the same old concept, but just like service pack 2 made XP great 7 is an undeniable improvement.

@madzane94 Uh, he doesn’t make a point with dlls or the registry. Apple also uses DLLs, and the registry is just renamed to the Library on Apple.

Not really. I’m not like a hardcore Macfan or anything, in fact, I’m a long-term Windows user, and I’m very fond of the newest Mac OS.

As much as I’d like to make a hackintosh, it is technically illegal, so there’s no way to get any warranty on anything, or solid help from a certified expert. Hardware crashes would be much harder to work around. In a sense, the best aspects of Apple’s OS (keeping the heavy stuff away from the user for productivity’s sake) would become a nightmare to deal with. Making music would be easier on a custom PC than a hackintosh.
