HTC Droid Eris – Hard Reset and Update Tutorial

The Droid Eris www.letstalk.com from Verizon Wireless features a manual “hard reset” option that will then allow you to manually update your cell phone to Android 2.1 and clear unwanted information and applications.

Hi my name is michelle. and i just got my eris like 4 days ago. I Just put a pass work when i got it. because i have a little brother who likes to play with phones.But when i tried putting the lock it wouldnt let me in. so it asked for a google account so i typed it but it keeps saying its wrong.So i trried rebooting it but it sends me to a white screen with a bunch of words then sends me to a Triangle with a “!” mark in it . Can you please Help me?
