to do this you need discs am i correct?

if so, does apple give you windows discs when you buy your mac?

or to run any kind of bootcamp, even xp do you need to shell out $100+ for the discs?

or can you put on windows 7 or xp totally free?

    THANKS SO MUCH!

It looks like he’s using a Windows XP Dell Reinstallation disk. Would this work for vista? I’ve heard a lot of speculation on whether or not using those types of disks actually work, and wanted to check in before I accidentally destroy my mac.

What’s up guys. I just switched from pc to a mac. I got a MacBook pro And I installed windows 7 using bootcamp. How can I switch OS withouth having to shut down the laptop and hold the ” option” key to see the 2 OS at start. Up.? Is there any program or software to be able to do this.? Thanks in advance.

  • TheAxelX3

you should only use windows through bootcamp for gaming purposes only and use the mac side for internet watching movies and stuff because if you download something through xp that has a virus your whole pc is infected.

@GIocks the only reason anyone with snow leopard would get microsoft 7 is to play games on their favorite computers.

  • MarioOtero1

when running windows can you download a program and if you do so would you get viruses on the mac?

  • bryceyyy14

@GIocks because he can’t run window’s and osx on a window’s laptop and the quality of window’s laptop’s isn’t near as good as a mac.

  • rinkiepo

So do I have to have SnowLeopard disk & a Windows disk?

  • ReilsHR

Mac: You can install Windows on our Macs! || Cool! Can we install Mac OS on PCs? || Mac: No. That’d be illegal. || :( Fail.

  • NamelessNLS
