@DetroitBORG thanks for reply i have got my pictures on my computer now but i couldnt find the DCIM file, and still can’t get my videos it shows my iphone as a camera not a file on my computer.

  • DetroitBORG

@michelespiritlevel The Wallpaper is from OSX Snow Leopard, it’s the default Wallpaper for all macs as is called “Aurora”. You should be able to Google it, save the image, and add it as a Wallpaper to your iPhone.

  • DetroitBORG

@epicskiillz Mac or PC? On a PC, navigate to “My Computer” look for the iPhone as an attached drive. Open or Explore the folder, and you should see a folder labeled DCIM. Your files will be in there and you can drag and drop them to your computer. With a Mac, you would use iPhoto to import the videos.

how do i get videos from my iphone to my computer?

  • michelespiritlevel

Hi gr8 video,it really helped me out a lot . Would you tell me how you got the purple backround when you opened your Apple folder please coz it looks real cool,i love it ,how would I get that background? Thankyou so much

  • thirstct

This helped a lot! Thank you

  • Bazza4207

    Nice tutorial.

  • tromain27

How do you change the font?

  • pbpayroll7

    Great video. Thanks!

  • duster15670

Thanks Detroit….can’t see there being a recall at tomorrows press conference but prob at best they may offer free bumper case to iPhone 4 owners but it may only be to tell us about os4.1…

  • DetroitBORG

@duster15670 I am going to try and demo the problem, but it’s somewhat hard to do a control experiment and communicate the problem so I haven’t been terribly successful. Apple just announced they are holding an Emergency Press conference on sunday, possibly to address the known issues with the antenna and proximity sensor. So stay tuned before you order, they may have big news.

  • duster15670

    To buy it for £280…

  • duster15670

    Hi again Detroit,
Just watched your review and got my answer at the end..lol..proximity problem is a new one that I don’t quite understand..maybe u could show it in a quick video or I’ll try looking it up…going to order it tomorrow now..I use camera a lot on my 3GS and get quite annoyed at family gatherings and partys when I need the flash and better quality pics and vids..with the retina display and all other hardware upgrades on it too it’s time to say bye to my trusty old 3GS..anyone want

  • DetroitBORG

@duster15670 I love my iPhone 4, I couldn’t be happier and would wholeheartedly recommend an upgrade. I did a review of the iPhone 4, did you see my latest video Review of the iPhone 4, I go into some detail. The only issue I have, and I hope it’s fixed in software, is the proximity sensor not working as reliably as it did in the previous iPhones. I’m constantly hanging up on people or doing other unintentional things with my cheek.

  • duster15670

    Hi Detroit,
Thinkin(more than not) of selling my 3GS and getting iPhone 4..would u recommend it after havin iPhone 4 now for a few weeks(forget the stupid antenna issue)…checked out all your videos and now ready to order or not?…thanks

  • 00Chriss0

Holy s…t is that camera quality great.

  • liamwebb1985

Thanks mate didnt even know u could chop vids in camera roll nice one!!

  • DetroitBORG

@liamwebb1985 Sadly, only shortening is possible. But if you are really determined, you can shorten the orginal movie (as long as they are in your camera roll) and save each individual clip as a new movie. You would do this using the native camera roll and video app on the iPhone. Then import those shortened clips into iMovie. Yeah, it’s not pretty, but it’s possible ;) .

  • liamwebb1985

Ive got a really long video and i just want to chop out the best bits to shorten, can this be done? I can see that u can shorten clips but i want to chop??

  • adidasDC

lame i bought it today… thought it would have that sample video that everone saw guess not lame

  • chrisf1165

  • Garysiphone

  • samdugrey

When I heard the new iPhone had iMovie I was pretty excited. I’ve never had a Mac, so I had no idea how to use it. Your tutorial helped me out a lot. Thank you. :)

  • DetroitBORG

@smiley6943 It’s the default OS 10.6 wallpaper on all Macs.

  • DetroitBORG

Yo man would have been great but you messed up around 4:46 and I lost what you were saying. What is the coding needed to display Hello World.

  • zeevideo

    Great job Matthew! Thanks bud!

  • Barbadel

In response to some of the people like me who were missing the class actions or class outlets in their identity window I’m pleased to tell you that I found a solution online. Here goes:

Interface Builder has gone through some changes recently. Go to classes in the library panel, select the object from the top half you wish to inspect (ex: MainView) and the lower half of the screen has tabs for Lineage, Definitions, Outlets and Actions. You can add them from there.
