How To Jailbreak and Unlock iPhone OS 3.0.1 on iPhone 2G 3G & 3GS with Step by Step Tutorial

This is a step by step tutorial on how to update and jailbreak/unlock your iPhone on 3.0.1 firmware. The firmware is almost the same as 3.0 cept for fixing up the sms vulnerability. There fore I will be using the same method as for the 3.0 jailbreak using redsn0w 0.8. You will first need to download these 2 files. USE FIREFOX TO DOWNLOAD: Download 3.0 NOT 3.0.1 and upload into redsn0w. 3.0 Firmware IPSW here: Choose your iPhone 2G,3G,3GS www.felixbruns.de If they ask for password its: bluroom Redsn0w for Mac: thebigboss.org Redsn0w for PC: thebigboss.org To unlock add “repo666.ultrasn0w.com” to sources in cydia. ultrasn0w is spelled with a 0 (zero) If you are jailbreaking an iPhone 2G, Check this tutorial www.youtube.com you need to download the bootloaders here: www.mediafire.com You will need to put them in Redsn0w to unlock iPhone 2G If you found this video helpful please Rate, Comment, Subscribe for the latest video updates for everything Apple.     The jail break worked like charm.. cydia was installed .. when i tried to unlock the iphone was asked to reboot after applying the patch.. it never rebooted.. it shows apple icon and stays there…

    how the hell can i get the firmware download to become a ipsw icon. all i get is a folder with 3 DMG files which i cant open, one requires a password, a firmwaref file and a couple of plist files. HELP HELP HELP…….
