@Jamieesler93 so if its not in your applications folder… il send you a link to download it…

  • Jamieesler93

@thaddadian no cuz i made like a few copies of it and i had 1 in the dock
& i didnt need as many so i put one in the trash & then deleted it from the trash & witch somehow deleted all my copies…

  • thaddadian

@Jamieesler93 so what you are saying is that you typed your password in order to delete Front Row from the applications folder??? or did you just take it out of the dock…?

  • Jamieesler93

i accidentally deleted “front row” cuz i thought i had a copy but they both got deleted and erased how do i get it back???

  • thaddadian

@rkdancer1 go to your applications folder in Macintosh HD. it should be in there. you can drag the app to the dock. there you go.

  • rkdancer1

  • pgporkour96

does it have to be in some speciall format?

  • pgporkour96

  • thaddadian

just make sure you unlock it before pasting the new icon

  • thaddadian

yes it does… it should work on snow leopard… i am running snow leopard in this video…

  • thaddadian

after highlighting the icon like you did when changing it, press (“CMD”+”X”)(which means cut) on the highlighted and changed icon… that will restore the original icon.

    i hoped i helped!

    Don,
The quality of the 1080 video looks incredible! I’m watching on a 24″ monitor. It certainly gives the cores on my MacBookPro a workout, but is worth it. The details are more crisp than the 720 version. Nice how YouTube has implemented the ability to switch. This is a great advance.

  • screencastsonline

Do you not get the option to play in 720 or 1080?

  • abn0038

My 2.4 GHz Core2Duo struggles with the 1080 so my vote is to stick with 720.

  • zomfgitsjon

my iMac struggles to play the 1080p version of this for some reason.

Surely a reason for me to buy a new iMac…

  • bonid741

    Nice work Don. Great quality
Its like a little teaser for my regular weekend Podcast viewing.

  • DeanNolan

    Video quality is outstanding.

  • screencastsonline

    it’s a Sony HDR-SR11

  • LordSplodge

Don, what camera do you use?

  • otzberg

Let me just say, the video looks super awesome at 720p… trying 1280p in a second, but it already is awesome!

  • vmc1010

Sounds good Don. Picks up a lot of room noise so eventually as you keep growing you may want to consider something like the Aphex 230 channel strip. It has amazing logic gating feature that would help with the noise.

  • screencastsonline

Hi Victor, it’s an Audio Technica ATR3350 wired Lavaliere. It was very inexpensive (OK cheap!) and I may invest in a better one if I can get some recommendations. The camera has a mini jack in for the external mic.

  • GriAndi

Yesssss.. It’s a start on this specific topic. Looking forward to the next shows themed ‘Mac Mini Server’!

  • vmc1010

What lavaliere mic are you using Don? and if it’s wireless what transmitterreceiver? This is Victor (TMUP)
