It is obviously impossible, but ADR Studio has tried to imagine a new Apple style product, able to be with us every day.

Say “Hello” to iWatch.

iWatch is a wrist device with these features:

- Aluminium body
- WiFi and Bluetooth
- Integrated RSS Reader
- 16GB;
- Weather forecast system;
- Possibility to connect to the Bluetooth or WiFi to iPhone / iPad
- LCD projector to show everywhere pictures by your iPhone / iPad
- Available in various colors

Neofonie is reportedly readying its potential iPad rival, the WeTab, for a July release. Reports suggest a price tag of around 449 euros, which is just under £390 in real money (or, at least, until the imminent collapse of the euro).

Originally called the WePad, the German manufacturer has either changed its mind on the name, or more likely decided that a legal battle with Apple wouldn’t be the greatest thing in the world.

WePad or WeTab, it looks like a fairly decent competitor in what’s shaping up to be a very interesting marketplace – check out the Android based prototype tablets we revealed earlier this week.

Hardware wise the WeTab is packing a 1.66GHz N450 Atom processor with 1GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of flash memory on board, with the option to expand using a SD card and there’s also two USB ports. Connectivity comes in the way of Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS.

The screen, in terms of figures at least, blows the iPad out of the water. An 11.6-inch screen with a 1366 x 768 display is impressive. We haven’t had our hands on it yet so we can’t comment on whether it’s as responsive as Apple’s tablet. These extra screen inches do affect the weight though – 800g compared to 730g for the iPad (Wi-Fi version).

The WeTab is unlikely to sell as quickly or as expansively as the iPad. But it may well be just the thing that an anti-Apple fanboy is looking for.

Requirements

Please everyone, there’s a TON of packages in Cydia, report any serious issues you see with any on the iPad, the more community help we get here, the faster everything can be updated to be both iPhone/iPod touch and iPad compliant/safe. There is much work to be done still to get the entire jailbreak community up and smooth on an iPad -- for instance, WinterBoard doesn’t work on iPad yet. But good ol’ OpenSSH sure does.

Using Spirit is INCREDIBLY easy. We’ve put together a guide here, but you really don’t even need a guide…. I mean… there’s ONE button. Good job,comex.

EDIT: NOTE: If you’re getting error code c0000005, apparently setting compatibility mode to Windows 98 allows Spirit to work.

0xE8008001 Error When Trying to Sync… fix

Assuming the jailbreak worked and you have Cydia but you cant sync:

Open Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit
Add source “http://cydia.hackulo.us”

for 3.0 and 3.0.1 go to
Section > Hackulo.us > “AppSync for OS3.0″ > Read info

for 3.1 go to
Section > Hackulo.us > “AppSync for OS3.1″ > Read info
Install.

Turn off your phone then turn it back on and Re-Sync.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON OS 3.0
